Terms of Service

Last updated: 10 July 2026

By using actbrief.com and submitting the scan form, you agree to these terms with ActBrief ("we", "us").

Not legal advice

ActBrief is a technical readiness tool. It generates an automated, preliminary assessment based on publicly available EU AI Act guidance and the information you provide. It is not legal advice, does not create a lawyer-client relationship, and is not a substitute for review by a qualified legal professional. We do not guarantee compliance with the EU AI Act or any other regulation.

Accuracy of your report

Your report is generated from the information you submit. We do not independently verify the accuracy of your product description, and an incomplete or inaccurate submission will produce an incomplete or inaccurate report. Re-scan whenever your product or its use of AI changes materially.

Acceptable use

Don't use the scan form to submit content that is unlawful, abusive, or that you don't have the right to submit. Don't attempt to abuse, overload, or reverse-engineer the service beyond normal use. We rate-limit and may block traffic that we reasonably believe is abusive.

Availability

ActBrief is provided "as is", without uptime guarantees. Report links are retained for 30 days and then deleted — save a PDF copy if you need a permanent record.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ActBrief is not liable for decisions made based on your report, including decisions about your regulatory compliance strategy. Always confirm with qualified legal counsel before relying on any risk classification.
